I found it a great location to stay before and after my trip to the Aran islands. It is only 7 minutes away from the airport. The local shop is only a short drive away. This a good base to start your adventure in the west. The only bad thing was my time there went too quick. I am looking forward to coming back next year.

We enjoyed staying at Janet’s place for 2 nights. The house is impeccable and ideally located for visiting the Connemara area as well as Galway.
Janet is a professional and accommodating host as she allowed us to arrive late.

Janet was so responsive to my messages and questions. We loved exploring the beach, saw beautiful stars at night, enjoyed watching the rain storm from the cottage. I recommend this to anyone hoping for a private, beautiful, home away from home!
