- Locally – the Costcutter shop at the top does hot food.
- Pota our local café does lovely lunches and has a great bakery and an local artisan food section.
- Garai Glas – you will find on the main road near Tir na nOg pub – organic salad and vegetables and an honesty stall.
- The café at Casla does great breakfasts, scones, and huge fish and chips.
- The Hooker bar about 20 minutes drive does pizzas.
- Spiddal our local village has lots of restaurants and a café Builin Blasta at the Ceardlann Craft Centre. Particularly recommended is Runda the food truck hidden away between two buildings near the petrol station – lovely coffee and fantastic selection of cakes and sweet treats.
- Ard Bia at Spanish Arch
- Barna has several places to eat Nourish and Barcella for breakfast and lunch, The 12 Hotel bistro and Donnelly’s pub.
- Galway Market is on Saturdays – not very big but check out the crepe van run by the lovely Mick – also Goya’s in Kirwin’s Lane has the best vegetable soup and lemon meringue pie you will ever have.
